Frequently Asked Questions

Gluten exists in the grain kernels at the top of wheat plants while our straws are made from the leftover plant stalks (typically called straw). Wheat harvesting can be a dusty process and our straws get cleaned multiple times throughout production. Our straws are intended for drinking so you should not be eating any wheat products. If you are still nervous about contamination or are allergic to wheat itself, we recommend considering our other straw products.

Rinse and clean them after each use. Place them in a ventilated area and let them completely dry out before using again. We've used straws for weeks and months at a time. 

All of our current products are 8 inches (20 cm) tall. Diameters are listed on their product pages. If you are interested in shorter straws for cocktails or wider versions for drinks like bubble tea, let us know !

We have sourced our products to be 100% plant materials and are in the process of getting each one officially certified.

We offer free shipping for all orders over $20, fulfilled through USPS. This option is only available in the United States. Orders under $20 cost a flat fee of $5. These shipping options typically take 3-5 business days for delivery. 

International orders are shipped based on weight of the products, with courier options including UPS and DHL.
