Why plant straws?
Drinking straws should be simple. They should work great and we should feel good about using them. Single use plastics are no longer the answer - we need to consider the impact we have on the environment. So what instead? Paper straws fall apart in our drinks - not good enough. Bioplastic straws seem to have similar longevity to plastic straws when not properly disposed of - not good enough either. Finally we found straws made from materials like bamboo, reed, and wheat. Our straws originate from these fast growing plants whose hollow stalks are naturally formed straws. It's a simple process to produce them and result in less potential harm when you're done drinking.
